- The chief differences are in the opening moves. The banda y banda is used in exchange for the #8 & 9 strikes. Abanico flat blade blocks can be substituted for the force to force blocks. Otherwise you can use these actions as slashes.

Arnis : Form : Blade form 3
- Blade Anyo 3 starts out with two “butcher’s blocks”. You angle step forward to your right foot and execute a roof block/follow up slash. You angle step forward with your left foot and execute a slanting cut.
- The rest of the blade Anyo 3 follows the same footwork pattern of cane anyo 3.

- Side step with your left foot.
- Move forward into a cat stance. then parry with your left hand giving slanting cut with your right hand.
- The difference in move 4 is that your check hand paries close to your face and your blade cuts farther forward. The rest of the blade Anyo is identical to the cane Anyo.

- Stance forward with your right foot forward to 12:00. Perform #8 strike.
- Stance forward with your left foot forward to 12:00. Perform #9 strike.
- Stance forward with your right foot forward to 12:00 . Perform #4 strike.
- Stance forward with right foot backward to 6:00. Perform #8 strike.
- Stance forward with left foot backward to 6:00. Perform #9 strike.
- Stance middle with your left foot forward to 12:00. Brace right.
- Stance middle with your right foot forward to 12:00. Cut through left.
- Stance forward with right foot backward to 6:00. Strike lower left side to your upper right side and it is in a back handed hammer fist motion.
- Stance forward with left foot backward to 6:00.Perform uppercut action delivered from your lower right side to your upper left side.
- Stance forward with your right foot forward to 12:00. Strike advance – #12.
- Stance forward with right foot backward to 6:00. Perform #8 strike.
- Stand ready with your right foot forward to 12:00.

- With your Right step to 3:00, brace block to right side.
- With your Left step to left, brace block to left side.
- With your Right step to 12:00,Perform up cut to right side.
- With your Left step forward, Perform up cut to left side.
- With your Right step forward and pivot to face 6:00, circle your cane overhead in the same direction. Take Left step back and give #9 strike. Then Right step back and give #8 strike.
- Right step forward (6:00 on the clock face). Perform an up cut to your left side.
- Pivot to face 12:00 and circle your cane over your head in the same direction as the turn. Take your left step back, give #9 strike and then right step back, give #8 strike.
- Close the anyo.
