KENPO SHIELD:  A: RIGHT OR LEFT PUNCH  B: ATTACKER IS CLOSE

Defense A:

  1. Right foot steps back to 6:30 as you do a left upwards block, while your right hand is in chambers.
  2. Keep your left block in check position as you throw a right reverse punch.

Defense B:

  1. If the attacker is close after the upwards block, follow up with a right inverted punch under the attackers floating ribs.
