Opening

  1. Begin in a mediative horse stance.

Section 1 

  1. Step toward 12:00 with your right foot to form a right neutral bow stance.
  2. Deliver a right hammering inward block.
  3. Your left hand covers.
  4. Deliver a right outward downward diagonal handsword strike.
  5. Step toward 12:00 with your left foot to form a left neutral bow stance.
  6. Deliver a left thrusting inward block.
  7. Your right hand covers.
  8. Deliver a left outward downward diagonal handsword strike.

Section 2 — Transition 1

  1. Slide your left foot toward 6:00 to form a left 45 degree cat stance facing 12:00.
  2. Cock both hands at your right hip (left over right).

Section 3

  1. Step toward 9:00 with your left foot and pivot counterclockwise to form a left neutral bow stance.
  2. Deliver a left vertical outward block.
  3. Deliver a right horizontal thrust punch.

Section 4 — Transition 2

  1. Slide your right foot toward your left foot to form a right 45 degree cat stance facing 12:00.
  2. Cock both hands at your left hip (right over left).

Section 5

  1. Step toward 3:00 with your right foot and pivot clockwise to form a right neutral bow stance.
  2. Deliver a right vertical outward block.
  3. Deliver a left horizontal thrust punch.

Section 6 — Transitions

  1. Slide your left foot toward your right foot to form a left 45 degree cat stance facing 12:00.
  2. Cock both hands at your right hip (left over right).

Section 7

  1. Step toward 6:00 with your left foot and pivot counterclockwise to form a left wide kneel stance facing 6:00.
  2. Deliver a left upward block.
  3. Deliver a right downward vertical snapping middle knuckle fist strike.
  4. Slide your right foot toward your left foot (V-Step) and immediately step toward 12:00 and pivot clockwise to form a right wide kneel stance facing 12:00.
  5. Deliver a right upward block.
  6. Deliver a left downward vertical snapping middle knuckle fist strike.

Section 8 — Transition 4

  1. Slide your left foot toward your right foot (V-Step).
  2. Cock both hands at your right hip (left over right).

Section 9

  1. Immediately step toward 4:30 with your left foot and pivot counterclockwise to form a left neutral bow stance facing 4:30.
  2. Deliver a left outward downward block.
  3. Step toward 4:30 with your right foot to form a right neutral bow stance.
  4. Deliver a right thrusting heel palm strike.
  5. Your left hand covers.

Section 10 — Transition 5

  1. Slide your right foot toward your left to form a right 45 degree cat stance facing 4:30.
  2. Cock both hands at your left hip (right over left).

Section 11 

  1. Step toward 7:30 with your right foot and pivot clockwise to form a right neutral bow stance.
  2. Deliver a right outward downward block.
  3. Step toward 7:30 with your left foot to form a left neutral bow stance facing 7:30.
  4. Deliver a left thrusting heel palm strike.
  5. Your right hand covers.

Section 12

  1. Slide your right foot toward your left foot to form a right 45 degree cat stance facing 1 :30.
  2. Deliver a left thrusting inward block.
  3. Cock your right hand at your hip.
  4. Step toward 1:30 with your right foot to form a right neutral bow stance.
  5. Deliver a right extended outward block.
  6. Cock your left hand in a half fist position below your left pectoral muscle.
  7. Deliver a left snapping half fist strike.
  8. Pivot clockwise into a transitional right forward bow stance.
  9. Slide your left foot toward your right foot to form a left 45 degree cat stance facing 10:30.
  10. Deliver a right thrusting inward block.
  11. Cock your left hand at your hip.
  12. Step toward 10: 30 with your left foot to form a left neutral bow stance facing 10 : 30.
  13. Deliver a left extended outward block.
  14. Cock your right hand in a half fist position below your right pectoral muscle.
  15. Deliver a right snapping half fist strike.
  16. Pivot counterclockwise into a transitional left forward bow stance.

Closing

  1. Slide your right foot forward to form a horse stance facing 12 : 00.
  2. Cover your right clenched fist with your left open hand.
  3. Close your meditative horse stance.

1. SALUTATION

  1. Step out with right foot to Square Horse stance, right hand makes a fist and your left hand covers right, slide right foot back into neutral stance and bow.

2. CHINESE SWORD

  1. Step to 12:00 and proceed with Chinese Sword A, then step left to 12:00 and proceed with Chinese Sword A weak side.

3. CHINESE “L”

  1. From your last position draw to left cat Stance, right hand in chamber left on top step out left to 9:00 into fighting horse stance with a left vertical outward block simultaneously throwing a right punch, then draw to right cat stance turning to face 3:00 with left hand in chamber right hand on top, step out right into fight horse stance to 3:00 and do a right vertical outward block while simultaneously throwing a right punch.

4. LOWERING THE GATE

  1. Draw to left cat stance pointing knee towards 6:00, right hand in chamber with left hand on top, step out to 6:00 left upward block right eagle beak strikes down opponent’s centerline, leaving left and up in block position.
  2. Draw to right cat stance stepping out right to 12:00 followed by a right upward block, left eagle beak strike down attacker center line.

5. DEFLECTING THE DRAGON

  1. Left foot draws to cat stance right hand in chamber left hand on top as you step out to 4:30 left downward block, then step through right followed by a right heel palm with left hand covering.
  2. Right foot draws to cat, left hand in chamber right hand on top, step right to 7:30 right downward block, stepping through left followed with a left heel palm to face while right hand covers.

6. LEOPARD STRIKES

  1. Right foot draws to cat stance simultaneously doing a left inward block followed by a right upwards block then step out right to 2:30, left half fist to throat.
  2. Left foot draws to cat stance, right inward block followed by a left upward block stepping out left to 10:30, right half fist to throat.
  3. Step right to 3:00 into a square Horse stance and close with salutation.
